All the eukaflex sleep systems offered  a slat base as an anatomically adjustable structure .All the  Lamacork slats are made of highly flexible eucalyptus-wood strips with corkcover , attached to the side rails at regular intervals .

The base serves several functions :

To absorb the pressure caused by body weight, especially when changing position

bullet

To control the bed climate from below by providing air circulation and reducing moisture

bullet

The head  of the bed can be adjusted to several different positions for reading ,watching televisión , etc by adjustable bed

The difference in the slat bases listed below consists in the way the flexible strips are attached to the side rails , the additional movement that the adjustable slat bases offer , different frame heights and the option of electronic controlled adjustable bed versions
